Activities: The very best of Jewish cultural expression is showcased through our high-quality Visual Artist Tent Pavilions, featuring affordable works by more than 75 artists; a hands-on children’s activities pavilion, Culinary Arts Tent, food courts, jewelry and crafts vendors; plus a variety of musicians and entertainers. This year’s JAF will also introduce a variety of new, interactive activities.The 9th Jewish Arts Festival (JAF), presented by Saint Luke’s South Hospital, is the premiere Jewish Cultural event in greater Kansas City.
This fun, family-friendly festival features artists, musicians and entertainers who capture the imaginations and purchasing power of families and adults. Held on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the Jewish Community Center in Overland Park, the festival typically draws more than 7,000 participants and is supported by a “Who’s Who” of corporations, foundations and individuals. Bringing Community Together: As the premiere Jewish cultural event in greater Kansas City, the JAF reinforces Jewish communal pride and showcases its place as a major contributor to the great cultural landscape of the United States. It attracts people from all cultures, faiths, ages and backgrounds.
Tickets will be available at area Hen Houses, Hy-Vees and Learning Tree stores. Admission in advance is $6/adult and $2/child (4-12). Admission the day of the festival is $8/adult and $5/child (4-12). Admission is free for children under 4.
