KISS fans are reeling from the news that the band will not be performing at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony. At first the original line up was expected to sing, but apparently Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons rejected that idea and wanted to celebrate the entire history of the band. They made the decision to not perform at all because of an "emotional situation where there is no way to please everyone".
The Allman Brothers- a new memoir written by Duane Allman's daughter Galadrielle, will be published Monday, March 3. The book is titled PLEASE BE WITH ME: A SONG FOR MY FATHER DUANE ALLMAN. Greg Allmans says he even learned new things about his big brother, "as will everyone who reads it."
Neil Young is planning to release a follow up to his 2012 memoir WAGING HEAVE PEACE, sometime in the fall. The as yet untitled book will focus on his passion for cars, and will include stories about different automobiles he's owned throughout his life.
The Beach Boys Mike Love honored what would have been George Harrison's 71st bday by officially releasing a releasing a solo single titled, PISCES BROTHERS. The song pays homage to the 1968 spiritual pilgrimage he took with The Beatles, Donovan, and other celebrities took to India, to study with Transcendental Meditation guru Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.
