Sources say Ryan Seacrest will cohost “Live” with Kelly Ripa
So statistics show that there were higher rated co-host selections that tried out with Kelly over the past year and because Anderson Cooper was too busy at CNN to take the seat the next best choice media wise was 20 million social media megastar Ryan. He was a regular old disc jockey like all of us at 949 before American Idol dropped in his lap. From there he developed Ryan Seacrest Productions and Ryan Seacrest Enterprises developing the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and other TV projects. He’s the master of the red carpet productions for many shows on E! and we’ll welcome in the New Year for years to come on ABC. He’s busy on iHeart radio reaching 35 million a week and now moving boxes of goods to New York City where they’ve built a radio studio for him in the same place they shoot “Live”. But be careful….Ryan is not finished….he wants your job too…..(Listen!)

May 8th Update…..
TMZ claims ABC outbid Fox for the right to reboot American Idol. ABC wants Ryan Seacrest to host the show. The site claims Idol will be filmed in Hollywood meaning Ryan is going to have to make two round trip cross-country flights per week in order to do his radio show and ”Live with Kelly and Ryan”.
The show will debut in March of 2018.
